We are currently seeking expressions of interest for the role of Library Technician within our College to support our growing needs.  You will need to have appropriate Library Technician qualifications and experience, be proficient, highly motivated and passionate to work with our students & the College Staff.

A minimum of 2 years experience would be advantageous.  You will be able to participate in broader extra-curricular College activities including, events, sports, traffic duty, excursions, Library and learning expos and activities which may include some out of hours or weekends. We are looking for a Library Technician that is dedicated to providing the best support, who is able to work in a fast-paced environment and who has exemplar attention to detail.

The role is busy and attendance and punctuality are key requirements in order to provide the best support to our College Librarian and Teacher Librarian.

You will be proficient in Word, Excel and a fast-learner for our College data-base system. You will be kind, caring, patient and professional when dealing with our students, Teachers and Parents.

The E-Learning Coordinator will report directly through to our College I.C.T Manager and support our team of Primary & Secondary E-Learning Team members in a whole-school, collaborative approach across the College to spearhead learning and teaching technology and it’s integration into our College.

Key skills and requirements include; reporting to and collaborating with the College I.C.T Manger to introduce and integrate dynamic and engaging learning and teaching digital technology software, multi-media systems and equipment to advance and imbed a new age of virtual and interactive e-learning and teaching at Al-Taqwa College.

The E-Learning Coordinator will work collaboratively with the I.C.T Manager, I.C.T Team and E-Learning Team to provide support to enrich, strengthen and maximise classroom learning technology capabilities and assist the E-Learning Team to integrate these into the Foundation to Year 12 Curriculum, VCE and VCAL.

You will also support the development and advancement of digital, new-age technology into daily lesson planning and delivery, special programs/training of staff and students and special activities in order to achieve the best learning and teaching experiences/outcomes.

The E-Learning Coordinator will work together with the ICT Manager, I.C.T Team and E-Learning Team to equip Teaching personnel with the capacity required to effectively integrate technology into the classroom learning environment.  The E-Learning Coordinator will strive to inspire and engage our Teachers and students with strong skills and capabilities necessary for successful outcomes in this 21st Century age of teaching and learning.
