VCAL at Al-Taqwa

Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) is a hands-on option for students in Years 10, 11 and 12. VCAL provides students with practical work-related experience, as well as literacy and numeracy skills and the opportunity to build personal skills that are important for life and work. Al-Taqwa College has recently introduced VCAL in 2014, making a promising start as a provider. In a short period of time, the course has attracted the interest of students and teachers forming tight partnerships with various professional organisations in the wider community. We are pleased to share with you a snippet of the journey and experience of our very own VCAL students at Al-Taqwa College.
