Al-Taqwa Masjid is pleased to welcome ustadh Wahaj Tarin (Perth, WA) to give a talk to parents and the broader community on Saturday 3 March after maghrib prayers (around 8:30pm). Ustadh Tarin is the head of school at Australian Islamic College (AISWA) in Perth and is a world renowned speaker. His topic will be “Bringing up Successful Kids” — a must-attend for those concerned with their child growing up with Islamic values and etiquette. This event is FREE and welcome to all.
If you would like to bring babies or young infants, we do have a room dedicated for mothers with young children upstairs. You can be with your child while listening to the Ustadh give the talk in shaa Allah.
Ustadh Wahaj Tarin graduated as an extraction metallurgist and holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration. His passion for faith-based education has led him to be the Dean of Students at the AISWA, the President of Islamic Motivations, conductor of weekly Halaqas and one of our community’s prolific Khateebs
