Yesterday (28 March) we hosted a visit for Japanese students on a short term exchange program with Melbourne University. These student teachers along with their professor, Miya Suga from a leading university in Japan – TGU, were interested in the multiculturalism of Al-Taqwa College and how we run our inclusive programs to meet the needs of our students. They visited a number of classes to see first hand how diverse we really are and the different activities we run for students of many cultural and ethnic backgrounds. They also learnt about the background of our college and enjoyed a delicious feast with our staff. It was a lovely day spent getting to know our visitors and enriching their development of Multicultural education.
