Al-Taqwa College is committed to providing the best education for your children, therefore we feel it is crucial that we encourage and support them through their stressful final years of VCE. To provide additional support in VCE Units 3 & 4 subjects, the school has organised compulsory Term 3 WK1-2 Trial exams to prepare students for their upcoming VCAA Exams.
The purpose of trial exams is to give an exam experience as close as possible to the real exam. This type of practice is known to improve student’s performance, relieve anxiety, increase confidence, provide feedback and support students with more questions to review prior to the real exam.

What is Connect Education?
Connect Education is an organisation that works to empower students to learn more and aim to achieve higher ATAR results. Connect education will provide Al-Taqwa students with regular tutoring, mentoring and revision focused workshops for Unit 3 & 4 allowing students to start focus on exams at an earlier stage. VCE students will also be provided with comprehensive notebooks and weekly handouts to support students learning.
To provide additional support in VCE Units 3 & 4 subjects, the school has organised for Connect Education to run Term 2 Holiday revision classes to support students for their upcoming VCAA Exams. Please refer to the attachment (Term 2 holiday schedule). The sessions scheduled have been paid for by the school and attendance for all year 11 & 12 students is compulsory.
