Bus Driver / Property Maintenance F/T or P/T

Al-Taqwa College are seeking to employ a number of Bus Drivers / Property maintenance personnel on either full-time or part-time basis. The applicant must have

  1. Medium Rigid Driver license as minimum requirement
  2. Able to drive manual vehicles
  3. Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)

Pay will be according to the Victorian Independent Schools and the bus industry awards. Bus driving experience is preferable.

Caretaker Couple - Bairnsdale VIC

Al-Taqwa College is currently looking for a happy go lucky, friendly couple to help us run our Camp site in Bairnsdale. We require you to clean our amenities, cleaning-up on a daily basis, lawn mowing and general maintenance of our cabins, kitchen and bathrooms.  The Camp requires regular watering, especially during the Summer.

The Cabins are equipped with 90 beds along with a recreation room, kitchen and study hall. We have students camping regularly, therefore you will be required to have a valid Working with Children Check.

We require you to be at the camp site Mondays to Fridays, however your willingness to stay on-site would be preferable.  If you are interested and living in Bairnsdale area, email your resume to rosman@wicv.net.  The salary is negotiable.

Arabic & Islamic Studies Teacher

We are currently seeking a suitably qualified and registered Arabic LOTE Teacher & Islamic Studies Yrs F-12 who is passionate about the Arabic language, Qu’ran and Islamic Studies.  The ideal candidate will be caring to work with our students, child safety focused, highly motivated, creative and innovative.  A minimum of 2-3 years experience would be advantageous.  You will also be able to participate in broader extra-curricular activities, excursions, camps & events.  We are seeking a Teacher who is dedicated to providing the best education and learning to support our students and have excellent classroom management capabilities.

You will have excellent inter-personal skills, be team oriented, have an ability to work in a busy school environment, have excellent presentation and communication skills, be health & safety and child safety proactive, flexible & genuinely caring and nurturing of children.
